Commercial

For commercial work, such as logos and illustration, please email me. I look forward to starting a conversation with you!

General info:
I will collect as much information about your project as we can work out together, and give you an estimate including time and cost. If the estimate is accepted, I may ask for a 50% deposit, depending on the size of the job, then I’ll get to work. I will send you sketches for your approval and/or comments as I proceed. You’ll be part of the design process from start to finish!

I want to make sure the work I do for you is something you can be proud to have representing you to your market. So we can BOTH be proud, that is! This is not clip-art, or discount graphics pulled from a handy pile. Your project will be totally custom, and you can be confident knowing you won’t see it all over the place in other contexts. mailto:xan@xans-art.com?subject=info:%20Commercialshapeimage_3_link_0
Commissioning a Portrait
My system is to keep three jobs on my books at a time: one working, and 2 on a waiting list.  As each is completed, that opens up a new spot on the list.

To be added to the Commission Alert List, Click Here. (You'll also be given the option to sign up for my occasional Newsletter.)

A 30% deposit secures a spot on the list.  When I start work on your piece, another 30% is due, followed by the balance plus shipping upon completion.  That makes it easier to budget, and the built-in delay gives you some time to save up, get your photo references ready, and really pin down what you want, so we can hit the ground running.

From time to time, I announce a Portrait Marathon, during which I do a series of small or relatively fast paintings or drawings for a fixed price. Each Marathon has its own flavor, and can last one day, or about a week (or more!) They have ranged from caricatures, drawn digitally and delivered as a giclee print, more traditional-look digital paintings, to acrylic paintings on gallery-wrapped canvas.

Follow my Blog to be the first on my first-come, first-served list!
